TORONTO–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Pivotree Inc. (TSXV: PVT) (“Pivotree”), a leading provider of frictionless commerce solutions and services, today announced the appointment of Ms. Sarah Joyce to its Board of Directors, effective as of September 28, 2023.
Sarah Joyce is Senior Vice President of Discount at Empire Company Limited, a leading Canadian grocery retailer and food distributor. Prior to this role, Ms. Joyce led the implementation of cutting-edge robotic automated warehouse technology to launch Sobeys’ newest grocery ecommerce business, Voilà, in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta. Under Sarah’s leadership, Sobeys built one of Canada’s leading e-commerce offerings and expanded it across the country in a short period of time.

A native of Ottawa, ON, Ms. Joyce holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and an MBA from Stanford University.
