Pivotree Unveils Customer Survey Findings in New Report, “The State of Digital Transformation”

Released today, the white paper presents survey results along with expertise on strategies, obstacles, and best practices for digital transformation

TORONTO MARCH 25, 2020 – Pivotree – a leading Global Commerce and MDM Services Provider supporting clients from strategy, platform selection, deployment, and hosting through to ongoing support – today announced the publication of “The State of Digital Transformation: A Customer-Led Perspective on Strategies, Obstacles, and Best Practices for Digital and Data Success.”

“Knowing the pressure for enterprises to adapt and disrupt, we set out to ask our customers what their digital transformation plans look like for the next three to five years, as well as the challenges they feel stand in their way,” said Elizabeth Scott, SVP, Strategic Account Management at Pivotree. “By combining our customers’ perspectives with deep expertise from our team, the report provides a blueprint for how companies can take their vision for digital transformation and turn it into a reality.”

The report, which is now available online, highlights the results from the Pivotree customer survey, and provides insights on:

  • Common growth strategies for expansion,
  • Primary transformation drivers and roadblocks,
  • Critical tactics and technology required for digital initiatives, and
  • Four best practices needed to kickstart a successful transformation.

According to the survey results, 78 percent of respondents note that Personalization and Understanding Your Customers are the leading tactics for digital transformation. In contrast, Product and Customer data rated lowest in terms of data quality, indicating that companies may not have the foundation they need to support their top tactics.

“While it’s exciting to see companies gaining confidence and momentum in digital transformation, the numbers show that there are still gaps to address,” said Derek Corrick, General Manager MDM at Pivotree. “We hope the report provides awareness about the holistic approach that must be taken – from laying the right foundation to change management and engaging the right support – to make the digital shift. As the only end-to-end commerce services provider, Pivotree leads the charge in helping innovative clients gain the agility and competitive edge they need, no matter where the digital age takes us next.”
